Took Dan out to dinner at the Thai Thaiger on the Ave in the U-District
tonight. Lea came with us. It was a bit loud in the restaurant and they
both went outside to smoke. Not much
conversation at the table. Dan also
needed bus fare to get his medication on Wednesday. Dan is likely not much of a night
person. We finished dinner at 8:30. He said it was the only thing he had to eat
all day.
I am grateful to be able to be of service to others, for all the help
my sister Karen and her husband Lee (Dan’s father) gave me over the years and
to be able to pay it forward by helping Dan.
