Toni’s birthday was on 6/11. Several of her friends are getting together at
the 3rd Floor Nordstrom Café in Bell Square at 5 to have dinner with
her and give her some birthday presents.
We met at the Nordstrom Cafe for my birthday in March. That worked really well since the café was almost
empty and very quiet so we (I) could easily hear what others were saying.
Toni is going to retire in early July.
She might keep working part-time.
It will be interesting to see what directions her life takes her from
here.
I am grateful for my friendship with Toni, for having nice friends, and
to Leslee for organizing a celebration for Toni and for me back in March.
