The Seahawks football team has the #1 seed in the NFC playoffs. The won today and so get to host the NFC
Championship game next Sunday. If they
win next week, they will go to the Super Bowl for only the second time in
franchise history.
I despise the public subsidies of stadiums and tax dodges of the white
billionaires and their often minority multimillionaire players. On the other hand, since we are already stuck
with the subsidy costing hundreds of millions of dollars, it is good that our
local team is winning. Might was well
try to get our money’s worth out of the deal.
Some ridiculously rich billionaire Seattleites are trying to get
another NBA franchise to replace the team that moved to Oklahoma. It would be great if there was another NBA
team in Seattle. I am adamantly against having
to pay their new arena so that they too can own minority players paid for by
the public while local infrastructure crumbles.
I am grateful the Seahawks won today.
we enjoy watching the seahawks on tv. as we live at the butt end of the state Vancouver, we have lived here 35 years plus, they only had one other season they did as well as this year, what a waste of taxpayers money all taxpayers money, we went to old kingdome for a Mariners game and I believe a Seahawk game, we parked with the police and ate a fabulous lobster dinner for cheap at McCormick and Schmicks downtown, walked all over, no more can one do that Seattle is just plain greedy and for only the wealthy, we feel sorry for the many who work in the city and make so little they will never be able to live in Seattle, it has priced itself out for any working people, one has to have a bundle of money to live there so therefore we don't go up only to visit a cousin in the way way burbs and we never worry about hitting the meter(s) and the taxes up in Seattle no thank you..I get a big kick out of your blog, you must have good means to live up there as it is exbortitant and only for the very wealthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
