It was 80° today in Seattle. That
last time that happened was seven months ago on 9/12/15. We are in the midst of breaking multiple high
temperature records. Today shattered
the previous record high on this date by 6° by moving the mark from 74 to
80°. Tomorrow will be several degrees hotter. I am okay with heat records in April. It is the ones in July and August that are
too warm for my taste.
I am grateful for warm sunny weather in April. It is a wonderful change from cool and
dreary.
