A Sea Of Green

We are halfway to summer after the end of a wet winter.   It has been a warm spring with several days of record high temperatures.   The vegetation is as green as it gets with grass, flowers, bushes, shrubs and trees all racing towards the sun to grow as much and as fast as possible.

I am grateful to live in a place with a lush abundance of flora flowering in spring.  It is beautiful and provides a sense of continuity with nature.

Here in Vancouver Washington driest april and may so far..many many 80 plus days, we steal away to the Oregon coast and to cooler climates, we enjoy the sunshine not the humidity and it gets to be 80 plus by noontime so we flee..The coast has been warm, sunny & nice, we are going farther towards California and finding lots of places for great fish delicacies cheaply and some pottery places we never knew of whatsoever, whatever it takes to keep cool and away from the blast, our kitteh cats are well taken care of, the house closed up but a friend who adores our cats comes and keeps it nicely..have a great summer it will be hotter than a pepper plant in Bellevue enjoy your a/c!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
