My meditation has gone well this week.
Lea and I read a few short excerpts from a Jon Kabot-Zinn book on
mindfulness and then silently meditate for five minutes. She has great mindfulness/focus that compels me
to strive towards the same instead of letting my mind wander.
There is more serenity and joy in my mind now. My outside world remains the same. Being able to change my brain using my mind
and mindfulness has been a fruitful and rewarding experience providing the best
treatment I have ever had for my chronic depression (and self-pity).
I am grateful for all the potent resources to help me live a better
life by changing my brain to one that is a lot more pleasant to live with and
works better for me.
